I fear a backlash as by now ewr would have made my company to be marked for secondary scrutiny. this is how the story unfolded
CBP --who is your manager
XYZ -- Mr ABC who is based in atlanta ..
CBP. hmmm.. can i have his phone #
CBP calls Mr ABC .. we r deporting XYZ hs papaers r not in order ..
no call back # nothing ..
meanwhile XYZ is asked to sign papers ..
I know we can refuse but those people r so intimidating and I guess if you dont sign ICE agents come in and tell you that it could take months to send you back
so poor xyz has no option but to sign and get a stamp on his passport that he is being deported
Councilor access is a myth and so is trying to call and talk to the CBP officers
and this is not a small body shop .. it has atleast 500 people working on various projects across US and those people were not on bench

Hi Chirupally,
I had similar RFE where USCIS wanted doctor's original signature.
Doctor's filled out a new form (latest version) with all the information from the old form.No test were done again.But they signed the new form with OLD date.
Did your doctor sign the form with new date?
Also,are you including the old original form that you received in sealed envelope with RFE?I am include the ONLY the new sealed envelope that has latest form as the doctor discarded the old form.

Troll alert. This guy is trying taint eb3 by mixing it up with z visa.
he is asking "Do you guys know if there is any restrictions on which employer to work for on Z visa" in a forum where there are no undocumented.

they did that in 1996 and all this EB3 backlog is a result of that Z visa.Mnay of them have GC now.

Folks,
Last month I called TSC and got a really nice IO. I was checking on my FBI name check status and he told me that he can get more details by A# instead of receipt NO. He in fact found my A# as i only had receipt number handy. He than told me that the FBI checks are cleared and my case is assigned to an IO.
Does case assigned to an IO means that when Visa nos are available i have chance to get GC? Does it mean it is adjudicated and waiting for visa NO?

Can some body advise what is the best way to send money to India using SBI online?
Do i have to have an account with SBI? NRE/NRO/Regular
I have an account with State Bank of Bikarner and Jaipur, can i send money from my US account into SBBJ and then to SBI (parents account) ONLINE?
I live in Colorado and hence do not have the luxury of walking into an SBI US branch.
Any advise is appreciated.

One of my colleague got the same.. USCIS wanted copies of I 94, Driver License and all pages of Passport.
They wanted color - clear copies.

Masters in computer science - 2 years in US
Experience of 6 years in software dev

Me & my husband got our Birth Certificates in 2005 with all the correct birth details. Do you think we might still need affidavits for Late Registration of Birth?Please throw some light on this as there's lot of confusion going on this.

Did you LC mention the requirements for your job. Unless it emphasized that a Masters was needed for your job profile on an LC, I140 will be denied. File an MTR right away along with a new I140 uner EB3. Beleive in god and ur priority dates will remain the same as they were. Make sure that the new I140 under EB3 matches your LC.

I applied I-485 in July 2007. But didn't apply for EAD/AP. I applied for EAD for the first time now, few days back and I was asked by my lawyer a check of $340 as application fee.

So from all the replies , it looks like Money is the main issue ( and off course effort & commitment ).

Yes Interfiling is just for that, no matter how the labor cert was used, when that EB3 I140 was approved it was all valid. Now you are only porting the PD from that approved EB3 I140.
If you are to file I485, have your attorney write up a letter explaining how you are eligible for filing I-485 based on interfiling your EB2 I-140. Also the letter need to be in bright colored sheet to differentiate from other B/W docs and application.
Now a days USCIS automatically approves I-485 based on the earlier PD. Since in your case you don't have a I-485 you are not being benefited by it. I have read in IV that people getting GC based on their previous EB3 I-140 PD(with PD being current), if they happen to have another EB2 I-140.

My question is as follows

My friend who is a contractor in the company where I am working, is right now on H1B. He is a very hard worker and cheerful fellow. My employer (among big5 tech companies in US) offered him fulltime position.
His EAD is going to be expired soon, as he is a july 07 filer. He is worried that if he joins my employer at this point, and if he doesn't get his EAD renewed in time, he would be in trouble.
He already sent papers for renew but haven't heard back. After six weeks, his current EAD will expire.
